About EWMA Innovation Competition

The annual EWMA Innovation Competition is designed to support start-ups and spin-outs in the field of wound healing, helping them bring their solutions to market for the benefit of patients.

The objectives of the competition are to:

• Highlight innovative, tech-enabled solutions with the potential to significantly enhance the quality and effectiveness of wound care.
• Demonstrate scalable models that improve wound care quality for patients.
• Generate valuable, distributable insights that can be broadly applied beyond the participating organisations.

We envisage these solutions to be practical and implementable on at least a pilot basis within 0–3 years. We are seeking approaches with the potential to improve the quality of wound care while reducing the cost and complexity of delivering services to patients.
